Sculpture of the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. Originally misinterpreted, after the rediscovery in more modern times, as a sculpture of Hera (a very different kind of goddess), and given the name Hera Borghese. Eventually it was discovered that the identification was wrong, and this is now known to be a Roman marble copy (from the second century A.D.) of a classical Greek original made of bronze.
Now on display at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen.
