Johan Axel Nyblæus, was born 1821 in Stockholm and died 1899 in Lund. He was a professor of practical philosophy and rector (Rector magnificus) at Lund University 1863-1864.
The northern cemetery in Lund. It is now in an area surrounded by houses, close to hospital, but when the cemetery was founded in 1816 it was outside the town. It was partially planned by the architect Fredrik Blom. But it was not until it had been forbidden in 1841 to be buried within the town limits that it became popular to be buried here.
