CDV showing a young man leaning against a pillar with an urn on top, and holding something in his hand (a letter perhaps?). Undated and no photographer, but I could very well guess 1860s or 1870s, and Italian - the provenance based both on that I bought the photo in Rome, and the handwritten message on the back is in Italian.
The message reads (in Italian):
Alla gentilissima famiglia Fantonetti Luna Piero invia i puì sincero auguri
(which in English ought to be something like: Piero sends his most sincere wishes to the the gentle family Fantonetti Luna)
