Colorado Springs, CO - As long as we are having unseasonably warm November weather, I decided to take advantage of it. I was out under the moon and stars for over an hour playing around with different vantage points and focal lengths, and while I did have a winter coat, my hands didn't really even need gloves as the temperature remained above freezing and there was virtually no wind. This photo is a bit misleading, as even with the light from a nearly full moon, I could barely see Pike's Peak. The rock formations in Garden of the Gods Park were hard to locate except for the "Kissing Camels" under spotlight and the ground was mostly just a mix of dark and light patches. I used a flashlight to find my way safely into position for this shot.
