This stately basaltic lava stone courthouse was designed by architect Delos D. Neer. It was constructed from 1908 to 1909. The building is a contributing property to the Baker Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
Baker City is a beautiful little city located in Eastern Oregon with a number of outstanding lava rock buildings dating from the early 20th Century.

The lovely Italianate style Benton County Courthouse was designed by the prominent Northwestern architect Delos D. Neer. It was built in 1888 and is the oldest functioning county courthouse in the Beaver State. It is a National Register of Historic Places property.

The Clackamas County Courthouse was erected on Main Street in the historic old town district of Oregon City in 1936-37. It was designed by F. Marion Stokes.

The John Myers Building on Main Street in downtown Oregon City is one of the oldest commercial structures in this very old community. It served as the Clackamas County Courthouse until 1885.
