At the time (1981-1989) it used to be "Şcoala generală nr. 23". Now it is Şcoala Mihai Eminescu (Mihai Eminescu School). At least on the outside, it hasn't changed much. Those were the best years of my life - better than high school.

My guess is that the product is made in Bulgaria, as my mother visited Bulgaria once or twice while I was a kid. I don't think it was imported because imported products, few as they were, used to have labels in Romanian.
