I was told this was a mastaba (Egyptian tomb) with a pyramid entrance.
The thing behind the pyramid is in fact a tent covered with Egyptian painting and script on the inside, meant to imitate the inside of an Egyptian tomb.
My kid loved it because of the paintings but especially because he got to wear several headlamps inside the "tomb".
