3 months ago, when I was starting to learn this camera, I took LOTS of photos of the weeds in my yard. I called this one the "hour flower" for it only bloomed from 5:30 am to 6:30 am and then disappeared. This weed grew to 9' tall. The flowers were pale yellow about 1/2" diameter.

Shooting far away scenery with a 400mm lens, I suddenly caught sight of Randall Swindell talking with friends and like the composition. I asked "Do that again" and he suddenly pointed right at me as I clicked. Kind of a Heath Ledger image, eh? He is the lead singer and musician of Ensphere, performing with Flam Chen at Arcosanti in July.
