Vintage Shanghai 1120-209 wristwatch, handwound 17-jewel SS1 movement. The logo on the dial above the word "Shanghai" is a highly stylized version of the characters 上海.
The movement is marked with the production code CD, therefore it was produced in April 1967.
53 years old and still running strong!

Handwound 17 jewel SS1 movement. The markings CD under the balance date the movement to April 1967. Incabloc-style shock absorber. Steel movement retaining ring with some rust. At the bottom one sees that one screw was screwed in with a screwdriver that was way too large (yuck!).
