The International Commerce Centre is Hong Kong's tallest building with 482m height. This tower does form a "gateway" for Victoria Harbour with Two International Finance Centre (2IFC) at the opposite side of the harbour.

It's not as impressive illuminated as 2IFC and jmho 2IFC is the way more beautiful building.

Architects: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC; Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd. The final design of this tower was made in 2001 after more than four design proposal changes. The original World's Tallest design (574m with a pyramidal top) was changed, and the new design is by KPF.

Shot at dusk from the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade.

The International Commerce Centre is Hong Kong's tallest building with 482m height though construction has not completely been finished at the time the shot was taken. This tower does form a "gateway" for Victoria Harbour with Two International Finance Centre (2IFC) at the opposite side of the harbour. It's not yet as impressive illuminated as 2IFC.

Architects: Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC; Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd.

Info: The final design of this tower was made in 2001 after more than four design proposal changes. The original World's Tallest design (574m with a pyramidal top) was changed, and the new design is by KPF.

A 7-star hotel with 300 rooms will be located near the top portion of the tower on 13 floors. It will also include convention and conference facilities. The 7-star hotel will be the highest elevated hotel in the world, surpassing the Hyatt in Shanghai's Jin Mao Tower.

Buildings of the West Kowloon Reclamation Project (aka Union Square) with the all dominating International Commerce Centre. The upper part of the ICC nearly vanishes in the low hanging clouds - well, personally I would not book a room in "the world's highest hotel".

In the right background you can just make out the Bank of China Tower and 2IFC on Hong Kong Island. View Large On Black

Short telephoto shot, taken from the HKCEC.

The ICC (international Commerce Centre) is Hong Kong's tallest building (482m). Still in the final phase of construction. Construction status as of early November 2009.

In the foreground the Ocean Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. The vessel berthed at the Ocean Terminal is MV Explorer.

Looks much better if you view it on a black background.
