1881 Heritage as seen from the Salisbury Road entrance.
About 1881 Heritage: The Former Marine Police Headquarters Compound (Chinese: 前水警總部), located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, was constructed in 1884. The Main Building of this complex was built as a two-storey structure, the extra storey was added in the 1920s. Another interesting building in the 1881 Heritage compound is the Ball Tower. The compound is a declared monument and the site is officially renamed as "1881 Heritage".
In the background the "1 Peking Road" aka "One Peking" highrise, a 30-floor, 160m tall commercial building - and the first highrise in Hong Kong powered by solar energy.

The Hyatt Regency Hong Kong is located in Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hanoi Road. It opened on October 2nd, 2009, replacing the old Hyatt Regency at Nathan Road (closed Jan. 1st 2006) The hotel towers over the surrounding buildings, the base of the structure is formed by the "K11" shopping mall.

Quick street snap deep in the backstreets of Tsim Sha Tsui - but just 'round the corner from the hypermodern Hyatt Regency Hotel
Prat Avenue is way smaller than the word "Avenue" in the name suggests. The building front right is called "Rose Mansion". The little road branching off to the right is Hart Avenue.

This is a view from the famous Victoria Peak towards buildings in Wanchai. The more common shot taken from the Peak is the "Ocean of Lights" wide view....
The prominent skyscraper is "Central Plaza" (中環廣場) and has long been the tallest building in Hong Kong before the taller 2IFC (國際金融中心二期) was built, which itself was surpassed in 2010 with topping out of the ICC (環球貿易廣場) on the Kowloon side.
During my time in that area I did have an office in Central Plaza.
