These predators I see everyday wandering the neighborhood. They appear weary of people but not fearful of them. In fact, this one started following us once I called out to it. My dog prevented the coyote from getting too close.
I've lived out west for many years and only had one bad encounter of a sickly coyote who was all bend at going after my small dog while hiking. However, my border collie put an end to any threat by chasing off the intruder.

This elusive beautiful cat is yet another wild creature that I’ve imaged in my retirement community. I wished that after nearly colliding into it while riding my bike that it would have decided to sit in the sun.

I decided to stacked this image of a coyote from about 80 feet distance to better tell a story. Each frame was taken 1 second apart. It is quite unusual to see this predator in daylight. My Border Collies took great interest as it moved through my property. Somehow they knew it wasn't exactly a dog.
