Bowl made from lapis lazuli with two pieces of pyrite in it. The upper piece is pure pyrite, the lower piece is a perfect pyrite cube crystal embedded in marl, stone in which such perfect crystals can grow. The connection between the blue lazuli stone and pyrite is that lapis lazuli often contains small pyrite inclusions, which you can see shining in the blue. The image is made in such a way that the pyrite seems to float on water in the bowl: this is a pleasant illusion.
