Although it's still summer and here in So. California the season of Autumn is still quite a bit away, the discovery of the colors of Autumn was a joyful reminder the most colorful season is on its way. This pergola roof with its grapes & orange leaves spoke to me that time is passing, seize the day.

A pergola is an outdoor garden feature forming a shaded walkway, passageway, or sitting area of vertical posts or pillars that usually support cross-beams and a sturdy open lattice, often upon which woody vines are trained.

Temperatures are expected to be "much above normal" in the San Diego area and throughout Southern California by Thanksgiving, the National Weather Service said Sunday.

Coastal areas are expected to see highs in the mid-to-low-80s beginning Tuesday, with that day's highs predicted to be a full 10 degrees higher than the Monday's in some places.
Inland areas are expected to see even higher temperatures.
Highs of as much as 90 degrees are predicted for Escondido and Ramona on Wednesday.
