We've had a stressful couple of weeks. I found a lump on Evie's mouth/chin, felt like a pea, under the skin, came up suddenly. A sample was taken by the vet & sent off, it came back inconclusive, but in the meantime it had grown to about the size of a grape.

Last week she had it removed, more stress! but she did well and has been an excellent patient. I made a towel collar with duct tape to prevent scratching as she wouldn't wear a cone.

Today we finally got the news that the lump is benign, has been completely removed & won't regrow. Soooo relieved. Her shaved chin feels so weird :)

On a sunny afternoon I took the girls to a local nature reserve, dogs on leads only, but they enjoy it. This photo took some patience, yes Olive was fidgeting as usual :)

The woolly bears have had a trim since, getting hard to groom!

Yesterday was a lovely day, mild (11c) sunny with light winds so I took the girls & my mum to the beach, a very pleasant walk.

Olive was crazy exited, Margo too, much squealing before we set off lol. I haven't been far lately as Evie struggled to get into my previous little car & I was struggling lifting her! But a change of car and we can visit places again. A breath of fresh air, literally & figuratively.

The Honda HR V is working out well :)

I've recently changed my car, my little red car was no longer suitable for Evie especially, jumping up onto the seat is becoming too difficult for her and me lifting her.

So after much stress and research I decided the Honda HR V was our best option, largely to the 'magic rear seats' that lift up and lock in place. This means Evie can just hop in and out and the little ones use the other seat as normal.

We visited the beach yesterday for the first time in a month, good to have transport that works for us all again.

Yesterday & today I took the girls to the beach, best gift ever :) It was cloudy yesterday but warmer, today was cold but sunny. They loved it, you can see the state of Olive zoom zoom lol, ball obsessed.

There were hoards of people doing a boxing day dip the sea, rather them than me!
