Last night, instead of normally drinking the new year in, a few of us headed out of the city to do some long exposures! Left around 10pm and got back in about 5:30am this morning. We headed west into the mountains and on our way had fun photographing the Aurora Borealis.
This is what -20c looks like in the mountains. This frozen lake elevation is @ 4900 feet. Location, location! Looking N/E the Aurora Borealis can still be seen.
Happy New Year!
