today was not the day for a ferry crossings...the weather station in Malin head recorded a 10-minute mean windspeed of 68 kts, making it a Beaufort Scale 12, hurricane force, wind. This exceeds the previous record for Malin Head of 67 kts, recorded 26 Dec, 1998...not a pleasant journey but we survived :)
btw it looks like the guy in the car behind us was scowling at me for taking his photo oops :)
