Happy New Years Guys! This is the The Heceta Head Lighthouse on the Oregon Coast. It's still a working lighthouse and has been recently restored & returned to look the way it did when it first operated back in the 1890's. I want to thank all my Flickr friends and contacts for all the fun I've had posting and the friendships I've made on the site over the last 5 years. Here is to another great year on Flickr! Also wishing you and yours all are the best in 2014! :-)

Upper trail lake on the lower Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. The lake is located near the town of Moose Pass on the Seward Highway. From Wikipedia: "Trail Lakes are noted for being the home of a large salmon hatchery owned by the state of Alaska and operated by the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association. The fish hatched at this facility are released into streams and lakes at various points on the peninsula." Alaska provided many great opportunities to get nice reflection shots like this one.
