I just arrived home from vacation. This time to Glacier National Park, Montana as well as Banff & Jasper National Parks in Alberta, Canada. I had an amazing time and have many new images to share. I hope everyone is doing well and I will catch up with all of you soon.

Taken somewhere between Lake Louise and the town of Jasper, Alberta. The Icefield Parkway is 140 miles long (230 km) and links these two places. Of all the mountainous terrain and drives I've taken this one takes the cake for sheer beauty the whole way! I may be visiting Canada and Banff, Jasper and Yoho National Parks again next Summer. I haven't decided yet, but I loved it there! I'm extremely busy at the moment in preparation for Christmas with family and I will probably just be popping in sporadically to comment on all of your work. My archives are very full of un-posted stuff from various past trips though... I have lots of Alaska and Pacific Northwest specifically, so I'll be posting that next year until I do some more traveling. ;-) I hope everyone has a great Christmas and thanks for visiting! :-)

We've had virtually no snow this Winter and it's just brown and drab outside right now. Photography can be much more of a challenge in the Winter and I'm finding there is nothing new for me to shoot right now. Although we do have some freezing rain in the forecast for today, I really don't want to go out in that. I've been having fun going through and revisiting these old shots the last few days though... I hope you guys aren't too tired of them yet. There are plenty more where they came from. Here's one I took last September at a nature preserve near my home. It would be nice to be feel those warm Summer breezes again right now. ;-) Thanks for the visits and I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.
