Lake plumbago also referred to as "lost lake" near Alberta, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. An unposted shot from a couple of years ago... The colors at this location and in the surrounding countryside were at peak and probably the best I've seen them.

This is the upper Tahquamenon Falls located at the Tahquamenon Falls State Park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The falls are sometimes referred to as "Root Beer Falls" due to it's brown water color caused by tannins leached out from cedar trees up stream.
