River Cam up by Jesus Green, Cambridge. The smartly dressed gentleman sitting on the bench looked so worn out and depressed by the daily slog of work. His posture says it all. Life! What next? Retirement and death!

I was lucky to catch the other man on the right for he represented, to me, the endless possibilities of life: the journey ahead, the hopes and ambitions we have before, we too, reach the state depicted by the other man!

I dedicate this shot to Peter who I met over the weekend while out on a walk. Peter has some very original ideas and is particulary passionate about the role of local communities and how the bureaucratic set up and the 9-5 grind is harming us all. Just take a look at that poor man on the bench!
