Victoria Sponge is a colourful lady -- take a look at that dress and that necklace! "I'm not photogenic," she protested! Don't worry, I reassured her, we'll soon sort that out:-) Here she is standing in front of one of her works (Madam Destiny).

I like her work because it has humour in it. What is art if it ain't gonna cheer us up? I detected two main themes in her work -- food and circus. Both are fun, enjoyable things:-)

I first met Mohammed Djazmi around twenty years ago at the Cambridge Central Library, where he was exhibiting some of his Cambridge paintings. Over the years I've come across him at the city centre market, where he sometimes has a stall of his prints. He paints beautifully colourful oil paintings of Cambridge, the Fens, and the Norfolk coast. Here he is standing in front of his painting of Jesus College.
