This is from a park in Marbella, Spain. Note the contemporary use of Islamic tilework, a legacy of Muslim rule (by the so-called Moors) of this area for about 800 years.

The highly decorated Mughal-era Wazir Khan mosque is a must-visit site in Lahore, Pakistan. You have pigeons everywhere here. And that's a problem exacrebated by the chaps outside who make a living by selling seeds to devotees as they enter this historic building. My own view is that this practice needs to be curtailed in order to maintain the beauty of the place. I'm referring to the mess created by the hundreds of pigeons.

They're everywhere! Caught this majestic bird on top of a sufi shrine, Pir Wali Baba, in Hasan Abdal near Islamabad, Pakistan. (I tried a bit of editing of the sky behind the pigeon, but gave up midway (after messing it up:-) as it's not my cup of tea at present. I'd rather be out and about instead being in front of the computer.)
