Yesterday I had to make the difficult decision to let go of my longtime companion, Anya. She had a good life and was well loved by all. There is a cat sized hole in my heart today. In the time of social distancing and isolation, her friendship and presence became even more meaningful in my life. She died in my arms, purring, while i gave her soft kisses on her head. Rest in peace Anya. You were such a good kitty and I will love you forever.
