Yeah, my first ever star trails and in the most beautiful place I can think of. Thank you, Deborah, Dali and Phil for a wonderful, albeit cold, night on the mountain and an overall fabulous trip. I had to lighten this up for the web so it is not exactly the optimal exposure for a print which may or may not happen (the print, that is).

The car is the blind. I doubt we could have gotten this close to our target had it not been for the fact that we stayed in the car. It certainly is the closest I've ever gotten to a Killdeer.

I have a question: somehow, when I see images on Google Chrome, they are very, very dark and lack colors. Does anybody see the same?
