The ceiling of this mission is very different from the others I've seen. I definitely have to do a little more reading. I tend to get so wrapped up in the shooting that I forget to read the history of each mission. I was very impressed with the restoration on this one. You may not realize this, but the adobe clay that was used is very, very fragile. You can actually crumble the bricks between your fingers.
