A favourite city haunt of mine. Originally a series of swamps set in dunes, now sculpted parklands with a number of ponds / small lakes and a tiny area of remnant swamp. In good conditions at the right time of year, a competent birder can see 50 species here in a few hours. Look carefully and you can see Black Swan and Hardhead (White-eyed Duck).
