I need some colour from our South Australian trip. Perhaps someone from South Oz can confirm what this building is. It is just behind the waterfront at Glenelg, near Mosely Sq..

There are some appalling buildings along the beachfront at Glenelg. Spread amongst them are some lovely buildings, both old and new. This probably won't appeal to some, but I like it.

Glenara House was built in 1873 for / by a flour miller. It fronts onto Gulf St Vincent and would have provided a perfect platform for viewing the yacht races that were held at Glenelg in Victorian Times.

Stormont was designed by prominent South Australian architect George Klewitz Soward and built on the waterfront in Glenelg in 1886. It sold recently for a reported $A7.5 million. I was not the purchaser :-)
