Olympic National Park, located along the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State covers about 922,000 acres. It is a very diverse region, within the park there are 3 distinct ecosystems which are the Pacific coastline, alpine areas, and rainforest. It was my first visit to this diverse and unique park back in Spring of 2015. Spent a week there was just enough to scratch the surface of it. To really explore the park, you’ll need to backpacking deep into the rainforest, or days of hiking along the Pacific coastline. Will have to make my way back one day to capture more of it’s beauty. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the little taste of it from that short week I was there.

Still in the process of learning how to get some nice camera movement beside of flying these thing. Here is a few short clips I put together from a recent trip to Wells Grey Provincial Park.

Helmcken Falls is the fourth highest waterfall in Canada located in east-central British Columbia, Canada within Wells Grey Provincial Park. The protection of Helmcken Falls was one of the reasons for the creation of Wells Gray Provincial Park back in 1939.

A time lapse video of the firework events in Vancouver, Canada back in end of July with the last show on August 1st, 2015. A total of 3 nights. I only went to 2 of them with one on July 29th from Brazil and the other on August 1st from Canada.

I've been wanting to test and try some animation in After Effect with my time lapse video for a long time. And the firework was a great event to experimenting with. It was wonderful to have a great location to shoot the events as well. 2 evening of shooting with over 250GB of Raw sequences files at the end. Took me a few days just to render them out with video files, stabilize, flicker problems, re-render. A tedious process before I can jump into some animation for some fun. I kept thinking what kind of music should I use for this piece and end up decided to use only sound effects for it. Please feel free and let me know what you think!!

And if you are expecting to see a full show of firework, you might be disappointed as the fireworks only a small part of it. What fascinate me more than the fireworks itself from the events are the people who went to it. The massive energy that flow throughout the city before and after the show. And I hope this video can make you feel the same way I did. Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy it!
