Black Eagle, Ictinaetus malayensis, 70 cm. / 27.6 in. Forests, usually seen circling low over the canopy. Here at 2200 meters elevation. Looking up from the depths of the forest, the light was all wrong but I took the shot before it disappeared behind the treetops.

Gray-backed Shrike, Grey-backed Shrike, Lanius tephronotus tephronotus, 25 cm. / 9.8 in. RARE at this location, but locally COMMON in scrub, open areas and cultivated land.

Female with two young Gray Peacock-Pheasants, Polyplectron bicalcaratum bicalcaratum, 75 cm. / 29.5 in. THREATENED, RARE and declining due to hunting and habitat loss. Montane evergreen forest up to 2000 meters elevation.

Himalayan Bluetail, Orange-flanked Bush Robin, Himalayan Bush-Robin, Tarsier rufilatus, 15 cm. / 5.9 in. Dwarf rhododendron and mixed bushes of conifer and mixed conifer-oak habitat. Dense dark undergrowth and thickets, clearings, tree-fall gaps, open woodland along gaps, ridges and mountain tops.
