Immature Golden Eagle, Aquila chrysaetos canadensis, 66 - 102 cm / 26 - 40 in. Widespread across the Holarctic, except where humans are densely populated or have highly developed the land. Eagle was observed flying along the trail in front of us, then it swerved up and landed in a burned tree about 300 meters away.

Bald Eagle, Haliaeetus leucocephalus washingtoniensis, 78.74 cm. / 31 in. RARE to locally UNCOMMON. Usually found near water: ocean bays, lakes and rivers with abundant fish and waterfowl. 400 meters up the hill in a burn area, mostly small new growth with burned out pines.

Immature Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's), Audubon's Warbler, Setophagia coronata auduboni, 13.97 cm. / 5.5 in. COMMON and conspicuous in relatively open coniferous forests and edges, and open brushy habitat.
