Family and species unknown. This one was about 6 in. Land Slug is a common name for any shell-less, terrestrial, gastropod mollusc. Slugs are hermaphrodites having both male and female reproductive organs. Interestingly, an individual must find a mate, but it really does not matter as to gender.
