Independence Pass May 2007 - Like last year this was the last weekend that Independence Pass was closed to cars for the season. We took the opportunity to enjoy Independence Pass and the Maroon Bells roads car-free. Last year it was Megan, Jack, and me. We must have talked it up some because this year we had between 10 and 15 people depending on when we counted. I can see planning this trip every year. I wonder how often it wouldn't work because of too much snow. The weather was stellar this year.
