It's a bit blurry, but I like the view of the Notch Couloir route (the continuous snow couloir that heads straight up from Broadway and then angles up to the prominent notch on the skyline).

Flying Buttress June 2006 - On Saturday Craig and I didn't start early enough for our Flying Buttress climb. We lucked out with the weather and arrived at the top without getting wet. We were both beat and ready to be off the rock. Craig led every pitch. They're mostly 9 with a 10a pitch to start. The climb was really too hard for me though I did better than the first time I climbed this, 3 years ago with Dan. Craig was certainly at his trad leading limit and even skipped the big roof on P3, which is supposed to go at 5.9. I climbed well on the first two pitches (even though I fell), but the rest of the climb felt desperate. Craig did a fantastic job leading.

Flying Buttress is visible. We should be climbing. We're 2.5 hours behind schedule.

The climbing route goes up this buttress, starting at the steep featureless, comparatively-wide face.
