Second S24O - It was just Jack and me again for the overnight bike tour. Next week though it sounds like I might have a few more people. We met at Eben G. Fine at ~5:15pm. I think we were both late, and then Tracy showed up. I hadn't seen her for a while so we chatted for a bit. I'm not sure what time we left the park, but we barely made it to the top of Magnolia before dark.
The descent down to Boulder in the morning was a bit chilly. There was frost on my panniers and bivy sack, and the water in the bottles was pretty slushy. The bottle tops were frozen closed, but I was too cold to drink water anyway.
These trips are a great way to get away and will be really fun in the summer when it's light late and too hot to sleep in town.
