Hey everyone! Well, I've been out way past my bedtime but it was fun to try to capture the comet over Mobile Bay with quite a few other onlookers straining for a look at it...it really wasn't visible to the naked eye but I knew it would be below the moon...I took nearly 200 shots at different settings, unaware that I was actually capturing it everytime...LOL A review of the shots on the camera LCD gave me my first view of Pan-STARRS!

Hey everyone! I hope your Saturday will be filled with golden moments! We're having a first taste of Winter here this morning...and the wind chill at the beach numbed my hands to the point that I couldn't even click the shutter remote at times...LOL Considering it was 80 degrees two days ago, it's not surprising that the Gulf had a thick layer of stream rising from the clash between the frigid air and warm ocean...and the effect was beautiful! Keep warm, wherever you are! : )
