The François’ Langur (Trachypithecus francoisi), also called François’ leaf monkey, Tonkin leaf monkey, or white side-burned black langur, can be found in the dense, humid forests and lush, green valleys of southern Guangxi province in China, northern Vietnam, and west-central Laos. Their habitat region, therefore, is listed as tropical and terrestrial and they live in a rainforest biome. They tend to occupy sites with lower elevation, steeper slope, a higher tree canopy density, and nearby water sources.
Photographed in Mogo Wildlife Sanctuary in NSW, Australia.
