Tropical Acres is a steakhouse in Dania Beach, FL. The sign is located along U.S. Highway 1 at Old Griffin Rd. Not only was the restaurant established in 1949, but the sign was apparently put up that year as well. (Source:

The arrows on either side of "2 Miles" is relatively new. Originally, those arrows weren't there. Instead there was a red arrow portion of the sign at the top with the words Steak House, but this part of the sign was hurt by Hurricane Wilma. On the other side of the bottom part with "Est. 1949" says "Welcome to Dania Beach"
