Nightfall...we were leaving the Louvre, where I spent a few hours just to take pictures, as never before I had given myself the time to do that and well...I don´t spend much of my days in Paris.
We were walking around and the night fell and we realized that there were no taxis around. Well, yes, the Underground was available, but I had not checked where the next station was...and so on...and so on...
...unfortunately I cannot walk long distances...
...things were becoming difficult.
LOL...then finally a taxi stopped. Relief!
From its open window I managed to take the picture above.
We were going upwards, to the Arch of Triumph. Our apartment was in one of the big Avenues surrounding it.
Beautiful day!

Yes, it was a very cloudy day, but then I don´t know if I would like to post a picture with a very blue sky as a background here...

...across the Trocadero, where the reception took place, including lots of pigeons. They are just everywhere, aren´t they? Impressive!
