The North American B-25 Mitchell was a medium bomber produced in the USA during WW2 and beyond. An extremely successful design, more than 10,000 were built, served in many airforces, and some remained in service into the 1970s. Numerous examples remain flyable to this day. This civilianized model is beautifully presented by Red Bull. Normally, I don't like seeing commercial sponsorship emblazoned on historic aircraft, but I have to give Red Bull a pass for this and for their gorgeous DC-6 - both are really splendid. In popular culture, the B-25 famously appears in the book and movie 'Catch 22' by Joseph Heller. When a critic complained to Heller that he hadn't written anything as good as Catch 22 since, Heller replied, 'Neither has anyone else! - It's a great book, highly recommended.
