Looking back at some images in my archives, I came across this scene which I thought deserves a second chance in post-processing. I am happier with this version and cannot wait to catch the next storm. Not Covid, but gales, 80mph+ winds, and monster waves, that is.
Those tidal waves lasted just moments, but like memories, they stayed in my mind a long time afterwards. This image of a tidal wave bashing the 10m lighthouse reminds me of a quote by W. Churchill:
“Never in the field of human conflict was so much been owed by so many to so few”.
