Barn Owls are birds of prey, heart shaped face, buff back and wings and pure white under parts the barn owl is a distinctive and much loved countryside bird. Barn Owl is silent in flight due to soft fringe-edged feathers that don't "swoosh" as they move. The Barn Owl has excellent vision and hearing for capturing prey at night.

Swainson's hawk, is a large Buteo hawk of the Falconiformes, sometimes separated in the Accipitriformes like its relatives. This species was named after William Swainson, a British naturalist. This slim and graceful hawk is a common sight over grasslands of the Great Plains and the west, but only in summer: every autumn, most individuals migrate to southern South America.
