Phill is 'buidling' yet another construction for the cats at the bottom of the garden. Kaiser decided to take up residence to see how the work was getting on. Pixie couldn't believe that Kaiser's could actually fit in the box

No plans for the weekend: we are trying to stay away from crowds and as we live near a major tourist spot, it is very difficult at the moment. I am sure you all saw Bournemouth on the news yesterday with its half a million visitors! Bournemouth is only half an hours drive from where we live so the motorway that services our area are nose to tail. Luckily we have no need for it at the moment, but many do

We have had a break in the weather and the temperature has dropped by 10 degrees, though somehow it is still feeling muggy and humid. The cats have really suffered with the heat and have, I am pleased to say, begun to perk up over the past couple of days.
Work is beginning to become frantic so I will definitely be spending the weekend relaxing

Pixie enjoys being with Kaiser and he tolerates her. They quite often play together but this is the first time I have seen them so close together. Kaiser doesn't like being close to the other cats but he was already fast asleep so Pixie saw her opportunity to have a sly snuggle.
