Saw these 'heads' through a window when we visited Nothe Fort in Weymouth yesterday. They must have had bodies at some time like the other models on display in the various exhibits at the Fort, but as you can see they were a little worn ..................................and rather creepy.
Anyone out there watching The Night Manager? It is soooo good.

Only those who know Carlene will understand this but I immediately thought of her and Voo whilst looking at this sculpture at the Sculpture by the Lakes at Pallington on Saturday. I cannot recommend the place enough. It is so very beautiful and the sculptures are stunning in this setting. It is such a tranquil and meditative place to be. We are going to visit again in summer when there is more greenery about. The sculptor's name is Simon Gudgeon and his wife, Monique, designed the gardens. It is about 6 miles from Dorchester if you are ever in the area

This was my favourite sculpture when we visited Sculpture By The Lakes last month. I was reading somewhere that the sculptor is looking to sell the place so he can concentrate more on his work.
