We went over to Bournemouth this morning to do some shopping. The squirrels in the park there are very tame. I asked this one if he would pose by the daffodils and he gladly obliged.

The weather today wasn't too bad with just intermittent showers in the morning, but tomorrow is a whole different story:-((

Our clocks go forward tonight, a real sign that Spring is definitely here - just need to let the weather know that:-)

Well it looks as if most people survived the coastal surge, though there is severe flooding along the east coast and around the Isle of Wight. After the floods of 1953 where just over 300 people died and 40,000 were left homeless, strong sea defences were built and it looks like they worked. Believe it or not we live in an at risk area and are on the Environment Agency's register. I said to Phill last night what would we do if we got the text to say evacuate. Where would we go with four cats? And it made me realise I only have 3 cat carriers - must get a fourth!

Saw lots of squirrel activity during a walk today. This one stopped mid flow to see if I had anything to offer, then scooted off when it realised I was empty handed
