I look at this and I think of my Flickr friend Mona. I can imagine her walking along some unknown beach, carrying some strange fruits she found along the way. She is taking them back to a beach house she is renting where she will enjoy some fresh fish, a glass of chilled white wine and of course the exotic fruit.

And without imagination..........some random woman on the shingle ridge at Milford with bagged up dog poop on a stick (well I think that's what it is - lol)

Went to Kingston upon Thames to attempt a little Christmas shopping. It is just outside London, near Hampton and for anyone in the South of England who doesn't know it, it is well worth a shopping trip. And of course when the crowds get too much, you can take a leisurely stroll along the Thames and look at what is going on along the river. I have never, ever seen so many swans in one place!

Phill insisted we walk up this huge hill overlooking the sea so he could photograph the sunset. It was absolutely freezing with biting winds blasting right through us, I'd love to say he caught a magnificent shot, but alas the sky petered into nothing when a grey cloud rolled in from the sea. I on the otherhand just picasa'd mine - lol

Across the road from where I go swimming is one of the entrances to Southampton Dockyards. I quite often see the big liners in berth or all lit up leaving for somewhere exotic. Across the water you can often see the big container ships. In the warmer months I bring my camera with me just in case there are any photo opportunities. At the moment it is far too cold to look over the Solent after a dip in the pool:-)
