Well folks this is Elsie. Taken without a flash - so it's not very sharp (don't want to frighten her on her first photo shoot!)

We have changed Elsie's name. Neither Phill or I thought it suited her and now that she has settled in and relaxed we can see what she is really like. This little girl is just so full of love........she loves nose kisses, she loves being stroked and she absolutely loves tummy rubs. Anyway In Latvian 'es milu tevi' means I love you - so although grammatically incorrect on it's own - she will now been know as Milu (love) (pronounced Meeloo) which also sounds a lot like the noise she makes when she miaows - Meeeeeeeeoooooooooo. She does have the most amazingly loud and high pitched miaow for one so small. She has already started to recognise the new name and so has Kaiser - ha ha ha

Milu's favourite spot is behind the curtain, looking out of the window, However, during the last week when I pull the curtains back before I go to work we have somehow got into a routine where she waits patiently for me to arrange the curtain for her and then she 'climbs in'. This is now known as Milu's Hammock:-))

Mind you I had one of those terrible mornings where I woke up and thought it was Saturday. Kaiser came and jumped on me and I was just about to snuggle on back down with him when Phill yelled "aren't you getting up" Don't you just hate that?

Oh by the way this is Milu - see how well she has made herself at home

Anyway tomorrow is Saturday and I am hoping for a restful weekend. A few presents to wrap but apart from that I intend to chill out.

Still frantically busy, but just couldn't miss Furry Friday.

Milu's 'spot' is on the sofa behind the curtain. Hence we can't draw them across properly! Kaiser has to get in on the act of course. Look how big he is compared to her. Milu is 3 and Kaiser is only 16 months. He's still only a baby really but it's hard to think of him that way because he is so huge. You should hear him thunder around the house when he is have one of his 'mad half hours' - lol.

We are off to a Christmas party tonight so I probably won't catch up with you all until early next week

Alot of the east of England is covered in snow today. We had what would pass for icing sugar this morning, but the main snow has, so far, missed us again:-)
