This little one will be joining our family in a few weeks time. We felt that Mojo needed a 'companion' with Nana gone. They weren't close but they were used to each others company and Mojo definitely doesn't like being alone. A colleague at work's cat has just had kittens and knowing about the loss of Nana asked if we wanted one. We went to see them this evening to make a decision and this little one stole our hearts. We think it is a boy - but we will have him double checked when he comes to live with us. Naming will not take place until he is a little older and we see what his personality is like. He is just two weeks old.

I didn't feel so good yesterday so I went to bed around 9.00pm. I was switching off the light in the living room and checking on Kaiser but I couldn't see him anywhere until I looked in the tissue box. There he was snuggled right in amongst the tissues fast asleep. Couldn't resist taking a picture and as I did he gave a big yawn before settling back down for the night........ahhhh:-)

Well here he is everyone. Our little boy. The photo isn't the best of quality as the lighting was partial and I didn't want to use flash and scare the little thing. He reminds me of something in a Louis Wain drawing. Still no name but I am thinking hard........can't you hear the wheels going round? - lol

Major inroads for Kaiser this week. On Wednesday he went upstairs. Unfortunately, he tried to come down far too quickly and tumbled down like a snowball going down a mountain. I was at the top of the stairs and could do nothing but squeeze my eyes shut and hope for the best. Our stairs are wooden and open! Anyway he was none the worse for his acrobatic roll. His next attempt was taken a lot more cautiously and now, although it takes a huge effort to climbed the stairs, it is his new 'game'. Also he has found our bedroom!! When Phill is away I always leave the door open for Mojo. Last night Kaiser found "The Big Bed". And don't you know it's great fun having games at 4.00am in the morning - lol. Luckily I have today off work as we are going to visit family this weekend as it is my mother's 83rd birthday on Sunday and we are having a big family celebratory lunch.
