Returning home from my meeting I cut across the Forest to get home. I had seen these piglets on Sunday but it was too difficult to stop. Can you believe the size of them??

Pigs are let out at this time of year (it's called Pannage) so that they eat the acorns which are posionous to horses and cattle)

Went out to finish some grocery shopping today and drove past a group of miniature shetland ponies. They were sooooo tiny. Had to stop of course. The light was awful (it is so grey and gloomy here at the moment). Anyway not only were the tiniest ponies around but as I went further into the wood I came across a group of really noisy piglets. The piglets showed no fear and came chasing towards me. As a couple of the mini ponies had followed me the pigs also wanted to investigate them - what a funny sight they made!!
