When in Normandy of course you have to visit Bayeux and see the tapestry. It was an amazing thing to see and I can highly recommend visiting if you are every in the region. Bayeux itself is a very pretty town. And on the day we visited it was fairly quiet. I had the most delicious mussels I have ever eaten there - Moules Normande.........mmmmm

This is a beautiful village in Normandy. It is so pretty and I can quite understand when my Flickr friend Rafaele said it was one of her favourite places in Normandy. Phill and I met Rafaele in Lille for lunch. It is so nice to be able to meet up with Flickr friends - it makes the world a smaller and friendlier place:-)

These timbered buildings are quite typical of the Normandy region in France.
Off to Margate for the day to visit a client - see you later:-)

This building caught our eye as we were driving over the bridge to drive through Vernon. It was the fact it had a huge amount of pigeons sitting on the roof. So we decided to stop and take a few photos. I do hope that this building isn't allowed to fall into more disrepair. It would be such a shame.
It has an interesting history - take a look
